Duckering and herb knowledge

Carlene Taylor  with her duckering table selling herbs for medicine. Carlene married into Taylors, they were  a Shropshire family that spent time and then migrated into Derbyshire, (circa 1860). Carlene’s family originally came to England from Spain. [nee Maries y Marquez]. Picture believed to be in the grounds of old hall where family used to work. The picture appeared in an early magazine and only a recent photocopy came into family possession.

Some of the Taylors lived in the hermitage caves at Bridgnorth.
